These were a total pain. I won't lie, they were tasty but I doubt I'll make them again. It didn't help that I don't have mini tart cases, so I baked these in my silicone cupcake molds, which made them rather fragile.
The recipe I used is from Smitten Kitchen, who adapted it from Bon Appetit.
They are very cute, but unless you have a whole afternoon free and a love of washing up I would think twice before attempting.
